       This Italian  company  which came into being in 1949 by  a chemical engineer  name Giulio Castelli which later on became a leading furniture design company in the world.  The company designed a wide variety and high quality products ranging from car accessories, plastic ware then later on ventured on household products, laboratory equipments and lamps. Kartell items are  renowned worldwide for the excitement they create, their durable functionality and high quality.During the 1970’s the firm became more known when its products were exhibited in New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). At the end of this decade, Claudio Luti took over control of the Kartell company which then became the new head.
